Injectable Facial Fillers

Revance Aesthetics, renowned for expertly formulated cosmetic products, along with Teoxane, brings the RHA Collection of dermal fillers to Miami’s Body by Craft.

Injectable facial fillers have helped our patients pursue smooth, naturally volumized skin for many years.

One of the unwanted effects of some fillers is stiff-looking treatment areas. Your face is dynamic. You move when you smile, talk, and laugh. You want to appear youthful and vibrant when you’re still, and in motion. Now there’s a line of RHA fillers that will move with you flawlessly.

Dr. Phillip Craft’s innovative approach to beauty enhancements has always set him apart in an ever-changing industry. Body By Craft is known internationally for achieving natural-looking results with world-leading products and exceptionally skilled techniques.

We’re pleased to introduce you to our newest collection, RHA 2, RHA 3, and RHA 4, each designed to treat wrinkles and folds with undetectably soft results.

RHA Fillers-Miami’s Newest Collection

RHA 2, RHA 3 and RHA 4 have been available in Europe for over five years. Their secret is an advanced crosslinking system that allows the gel to flow with your regular, repetitive facial movements and maintain their integrity. Designed to resist harsh stretching, they have more staying power too!

RHA’s gentle manufacturing process helps preserve the natural structure of non-animal sourced hyaluronic acid (HA) so it closely resembles the HA found in your skin. It’s the first of its kind to move freely, yet hold.

RHA® 2

This formula is designed for injection into perioral lines (lines around the mouth/smoker’s lines) and to augment the lips.

Luscious, soft, and sexy lips should feel as good as they look. Your mouth moves more than any other area of your face so your lip filler must hold up to wear without breaking down. RHA fillers integrate well into your tissue, so they’re indistinguishable from your own skin, and let you move naturally. Because RHA is similar to your native hyaluronic acid, it’s more flexible than ever before.

RHA 2 studies revealed that over 82% of patients reported wrinkles and folds were improved after 12 months and even after and 15 months.

RHA 3

RHA 3 can be used to treat laugh lines and the corners of the mouth, or marionette lines. It has also been reported to last over 15 months in 79% of patients studied.

RHA 4

RHA 4 is indicated to treat the deep dermis and superficial subcutaneous tissue for moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles, nasolabial folds, the lower face, and jawline.

All three RHA fillers contain a small amount of lidocaine which numbs the treatment area and keeps you comfortable during treatment.

What to Expect?

How Does Crosslinking Filler Create Natural Movement?

You may have seen HA (hyaluronic acid) listed as an ingredient in skincare. This naturally occurring substance is found all over your body, yet its production slows over time. The hydrating properties HA carries keep skin soft and plump, but when added to skincare, it yields temporary results. In its free state, HA breaks down in roughly 48 hours.

Dermal fillers replace this water-loving substance under the skin to boost volume and soften contours. HA would break down and be metabolized quickly if it were not chemically crosslinked with suspended proteins.

Think of these links as tiny bonds that hold HA together as a gel, rather than liquid.

The difference between older generation hyaluronic fillers and RHA is that there are fewer chemical modifications in RHA fillers, and the crosslinking occurs in longer chains. That means it closely resembles native HA in your body. RHA filler before and after results appear youthful and soft, without puffy, firm skin.

What Can You Expect During RHA Filler Injections?

During your consultation with Dr. Craft, he’ll examine you, discuss treatment options and let you know what to expect. Dr. Craft may recommend a personalized combination of dermal filler products for you and will let you know what your RHA filler cost will be.

The entire process often takes just 15 to 30 minutes and you can look forward to seeing immediate results!

The RHA collection of dermal fillers contain an anesthetic agent (lidocaine) which quickly goes to work numbing your treatment area. Most people feel the first needle pinch then much less throughout the appointment.

Once your filler has been administered, the area may be massaged briefly, or you may be provided with an ice pack to apply.

Depending on your treatment area and the amount of product used, you may experience some temporary swelling or bruising.

Some regions, like the lips, are sensitive and prone to swelling but these effects resolve within a few days usually.

You may require a touch up within 2 to 4 weeks of your treatment.

RHA injectable fillers are long-lasting and effective, but they don’t last forever. The hyaluronic acid will eventually dissolve and be absorbed by your body. You can expect to visit for additional treatments by roughly 12 months.

After your injections, we will advise you to avoid direct sun exposure for 24 hours and avoid direct pressure such as facial massage for a few days.

Who Is An Ideal Candidate For RHA Filler In Miami?

Hyaluronic acid dermal filler injections should be avoided for patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Dermal filler injections are not advised for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding and RHA fillers are approved for clients aged 22 years and older.

If you’re interested in replacing the facial fat volume you’ve lost through weight loss or aging, fillers could be an ideal solution. Over time, many people experience a flattening of the cheeks, deepening nasolabial folds, thinning lips, and a downward pull of gravity. Dermal fillers are a fantastic way to subtly restore soft volume and diminish lines and wrinkles.

Before receiving treatment, Dr. Craft will ask you questions about your medical and procedure history to ensure you’re a good candidate. You’ll also be provided with detailed product information including the potential risks for treatment and considerations.

The most common side effects for both Botox and Dysport include minor swelling, bruising or discomfort to the treated area. There have also been a few reported cases of blindness and nerve paralysis. In extremely rare cases, a blood vessel can be accidentally rupture leading to necrosis (tissue death), embolism or infraction.

Botox/Dysport has been demonstrated to cause mild side effects such as headaches. The use of Botox/Dysport in very rare cases can cause spatial disorientation, focal facial paralysis, dyspnea and anaphylaxis.
